Did a solo day hike in Jun 2018, took about 6 hours to ascend and descend.
Getting to the trailhead:
Take train to Okutama Station. Then, take a bus headed for Miyama and alight at Ogouchi Jinja bus stop 小河内神社.
From the bus stop, cross over the floating bridge on Lake Okutama, turn right and walk along the concrete road towards the start of the trail.

Not an easy climb as there are lots of steep path. Not many signages are easily seen as well.
Was so tired and happy to reach the summit!
On clear days, one could see the view of Mount Fuji from the summit.
I suppose Mount Fuji is somewhere out there. 😅
